The Liupan Mountain Red Army Long March Tourist Area lies on National Highway 312 in eastern Longde County, about 50 km from Guyuan. Liupan was the last major mountain the Red Army crossed on the Long March and one of the places where its three armies joined. The area includes a memorial hall (expanded in 2005), a monument, a memorial square, a pavilion, a poetry terrace and a 2.5-km Red Army trail. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction in December 2024.
