The Liping Meeting Site at 52 Erlangpo, Defeng Town, Liping County, Qiandongnan, was built in the Jiaqing era of the Qing as the Hu Rongshun shop, a two-storey "yinzi" house with three courtyards covering about 1,000 square metres. On 18 December 1934 the Communist Party Central Committee held here the first Politburo meeting since the start of the Long March, and the Red Army headquarters was based here after taking Liping. The meeting prepared the ground for the Zunyi Conference. It is a national key cultural relic site.
