The Jizhao Bay Tourist Resort in eastern Wuchuan, Zhanjiang, was approved as a provincial resort in 1994. It covers 13.7 square kilometres with 11.2 kilometres of coastline in three sections — Jizhao, Tanliu and Liu'ao — featuring sandy beaches and rocky shores, and is a national 3A attraction.
