The Jiupeng Creek "Water Tea Village" Scenic Area in Nanyang Town, Zhangping, is the core of Tiantai National Forest Park. Developed from 2004, it is a national 4A attraction built around the waters of Jiupeng Creek and the tea gardens on its banks, with spots such as Xiake Square, the waterside tea garden, Luoxia Valley and a bamboo sea. A 14-kilometre round-trip boat route runs on the lake, and visitors can pick tea and fish. It was named a national water-conservancy scenic area in 2012.
