ℹ️ About

Bijia Mountain (Pen Rack Mountain) is a natural wonder: a three-peaked island resembling a brush pen holder, connected to the mainland by a 2.5-km natural tidal sandbar that is submerged at high tide and emerges twice daily at low tide. This phenomenon, called the 'Celestial Road' (Tianzhu Road), allows visitors to walk across to the island for only 2-3 hours per tide. Ming Dynasty Taoist temples stand atop the peaks.
