An old coastal artillery fort on the southeastern tip of Xiamen Island, built between 1894 and 1896 during the Qing dynasty. It is famed for its 280-millimeter Krupp coastal gun, the largest surviving sea-coast artillery of the 19th century, and is a rated 4A tourist attraction.
