The Huitengxile Grassland Scenic Area in Chahar Right Middle Banner, Ulanqab, lies on the northern Yin Mountains at the eastern end of the Daqing Mountains and covers 600 square kilometres. It is a rolling high plain, higher in the south, with lakes and streams, a temperate continental monsoon climate and cool summers. Its temperate grassland makes fine pasture, and its best-known sight is the Ninety-Nine Springs. It became a national 4A attraction at the end of 2014.
