ℹ️ About
Huili Ancient City in Huili, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, is a garrison town founded in the early Ming more than 600 years ago and once a post station on the ancient Southern Silk Road; it is a well-preserved Ming garrison city. About 1,770 metres long and 920 metres wide, covering nearly 250,000 square metres, it radiates from the bell and drum tower along four main streets in a cross, forming a chessboard of "four streets, three gates and twenty-three lanes". The Huili Ancient City scenic area became a national 4A attraction in 2015.
