Huaibei Museum, also called the Sui-Tang Grand Canal Museum, is a regional comprehensive museum rated a national first-grade museum. Founded in 1976, its new building opened in September 2004 with 10,670 square metres of floor space. More than 70% of its collection comes from the Liuzi Sui-Tang Grand Canal site, and its galleries cover Sui-Tang ceramics, Han-dynasty stone reliefs and Song porcelain.
