ℹ️ About
The Hemudu Site in Hemudu Village, Yuyao, is an early Neolithic site in southern China dating from about 7,000-5,000 years ago. Its 40,000 square metres have yielded pottery, bone and stone tools, rice remains and wooden building remains, defining the "Hemudu Culture" and showing the Yangtze basin as a cradle of Chinese civilisation. It became a national key cultural relic in 1982.
