The Haba Lake National Nature Reserve in north-central Yanchi County borders Dingbian in Shaanxi and Otog Front Banner in Inner Mongolia. Measuring 38 by 64 kilometres, it covers 160,000 hectares, is a national 4A eco-tourism area and is home to 140 vertebrate species.
