Gupo Mountain National Forest Park is in Pinggui District, Hezhou, at the southern end of the Mengzhu Range where Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong meet, 26 kilometres from the city centre. It covers 7,941.1 hectares with 92% forest cover and has 25 peaks above 1,000 metres; the highest, at 1,844 metres, is the tallest in eastern Guangxi. Sights include the Xiangu Waterfall and Lovers' Forest. Rated a national 4A attraction in 2006, it is called the largest natural oxygen bar in South China.
