The Guniujiang Scenic Area straddles the border of Shitai County (Chizhou) and Qimen County (Huangshan). Once called the "Western Huangshan", it is the main westward extension of the Huangshan range and one of the three high mountains of southern Anhui, known for grandeur, strange forms, steepness and beauty. It covers 6,700 hectares and is a national 4A attraction.
