The Guigang Garden Expo Park, site of the 11th Guangxi Garden and Horticulture Expo, opened on 21 January 2018 and is a national 4A attraction. Located in the southwest of central Guigang within the Liyu River Wetland Park, it covers about 1,246 mu. Themed on water, the ancient prefecture and the "Lotus City", it combines garden displays, wetland ecology, leisure and lotus culture, and has gardens representing 14 prefecture-level cities; its main landmark, the Lianxin Tower, is about 113 metres high. It is open free of charge all day, all year.
