The Guanzhai Mountain Scenic Area in Liancheng County lies 1.5 km from the county town and covers 123 square kilometres in four areas: Guanzhai Mountain, Shimen Lake, Zhu'anzhai and Jiulong Lake. It is known for its Danxia landforms; the main peak is named for its resemblance to an ancient "xiezhi" hat. It has more than 40 cliff inscriptions. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction on 27 December 2024.
