ℹ️ About
The Fengcheng River is Taizhou's well-preserved thousand-year-old city moat, dug in 958 in the Later Zhou dynasty. It is 11.12 kilometres long with 833,000 square metres of water. More than 30 sights line its banks, including the Wanghai Tower, Peach Garden and Plum Garden, presenting Taizhou's history, opera, folk customs and merchant culture. The Wanghai Tower, first built in the Song dynasty, is called "the first tower of Jianghuai". It is a national 4A attraction.
