The Ergun Wetland lies on the northwest side of the Greater Khingan Range along the east bank of the Ergun River. Covering 126,000 hectares, it is known as "Asia's top wetland" and is an important stopover for red-crowned cranes and other migratory birds. The scenic area on the northwestern edge of Labudalin Town features Horseshoe Island, Tongxin Island and the S-bend, and is a national 4A attraction.
