The Doupeng Mountain-Jianjiang Scenic Area in Duyun was approved as a national key scenic area by the State Council in 2004 and is now a national 3A attraction. Covering about 208.44 square kilometres, it has four parts: Doupeng Mountain, Luosike, Guilan Mountain and the Jianjiang River. Doupeng's main peak rises to 1,961 metres, with nearly 90% primeval forest cover, a summit lake, gorges and waterfalls.
