ℹ️ About
The Cuiwei Peak reserve, 5 kilometres north-west of Ningdu county town, is a national 4A attraction, national forest park and provincial scenic area covering about 78 square kilometres. It combines Danxia-landform peaks, strange rocks, caves and streams, with 76% forest cover. Cuiwei Peak, 426.8 metres high and one of the Twelve Jinjing Peaks, is known for its climbing route up a steep crack wide enough for one person. The "Nine Scholars of Yitang" taught here at the turn of the Ming and Qing. After an upgrade the area reopened on 1 October 2025.
