The Chuxi Tulou Cluster in Chuxi Village, Xiayang Town, Yongding District, was built over several centuries from the Ming dynasty onward as the home of the Xu clan. Covering 14.72 hectares, it consists of five round and dozens of square earthen buildings, is called "China's most beautiful tulou cluster" and is a Fujian provincial heritage site.
