ℹ️ About
The China Tea Sea, also called the Ten-Thousand-Mu Tea Sea or Meitan Tea Sea, lies in Yongxing Town, Meitan County. Its continuous tea gardens cover nearly 43,000 mu, described as the largest tea sea in the world, and it has been planned as the China Tea Sea Park. In 1986 Hu Jintao, then Party secretary of Guizhou, called it the "ten-thousand-mu tea sea" during a visit. It was named one of Guizhou's ten most charming scenic areas in 2010 and rated a national 3A attraction in December 2025.
