Bisezhai, in Guanlan Subdistrict, Mengzi, is a national traditional village. The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway reached it in 1909, and Bisezhai Station is one of the earliest railway stations in modern Chinese history; the village also had Yunnan's first private railway and first customs house. Now the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway Historical and Cultural Park, a national 4A attraction, it has served as a filming location for "Youth" and "Forever Young".
