The Beichuan Qiangcheng Tourist Area in Beichuan County covers 6.01 square kilometres. It is made up of Banaqia in the new county town, the earthquake ruins of the old Beichuan county town, the 5·12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Museum, the Beichuan Qiang Folk Museum, Jina Qiang Village and a visitor centre. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction in 2013.
