The Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area in Checun Town, Song County, covers about 27.2 square kilometres and is one of the scenic areas of the Funiu Mountain World Geopark, with 98.5% forest cover. Its highest point, Yuhuang Peak, is 2,216 metres high, and the Jiulong Waterfall drops 123 metres. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction in 2011.
