Baisha Lake Scenic Area is within the 185th Regiment of the 10th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, in Habahe County. The lake is about 800 metres from north to south and 600 metres from east to west, a small desert lake surrounded by dunes and fringed with mixed woodland and reeds. Sights include the lake, Mingsha (singing sand) Hill, Yanjing Hill and the "First Company on the Northwest Border". It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction in 2017.
