The Aihui History Museum on Sabusu Street, Aihui Town, Aihui District, Heihe, opened in October 1975. It is a national 4A attraction and a national first-grade museum, and the only site museum in China devoted to the history of the eastern Sino-Russian territorial changes. Combining the historic site, buildings and exhibits, it shows how the Heilongjiang (Amur) changed from an inland river into a border river and how the town of Aihui changed. Its main exhibition covers the peoples of the Heilongjiang basin and events such as the signing of the Treaties of Nerchinsk and Aigun.
