Chloe Nguyen

Biography

Chloe Nguyen is a Hong Kong-based Dutch actress and television presenter, born in Rotterdam in 1987 to a Vietnamese father and a Hong Kong mother. Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Dutch, she entered the Miss Hong Kong 2006 pageant before joining TVB and graduating from its 21st Artiste Training Class. She gained early recognition for her role as "Chloe" in the drama 《刑警》 and as the "Cruel Sister" on the variety show 《殘酷一叮》. In 2007, rumours circulated that she had been frozen out of TVB after just two episodes of 《一擲千金》 due to her relationship with Yang Ming, but she later returned in the show's second season. In 2010, she formed a girl group called "Lacee Lacey" with four other artists, but the group disbanded without releasing any album after their company went bankrupt, and she briefly stepped away from entertainment until late 2012. She resumed acting in 2014 with TVB dramas 《使徒行者》 and 《名門暗戰》, and her role as "Pinky" in 《愛·回家》 brought her wider attention. She also began posting cover songs on YouTube that same year. In 2016, she was nominated for "Most Popular On-Screen Partnership" at the TVB Anniversary Awards alongside three other actresses, and in 2019 she gained renewed online attention for her role as a gay nightclub dancer in the drama 《金宵大廈》. She auditioned for the singing competition 《中年好聲音2》 in 2023 and competed again in 《中年好聲音4》 in 2025.
