農夫 (組合)

简介

Fama is a Hong Kong rap and hip hop music group formed in 2000, consisting of main members Luk Wing Kuen (6-Wing) and Cheng Siu-Chun (C-Kwan), with former members Nip Pik-Chi (GiGi) who left in 2005, and DJ Galaxy who currently works behind the scenes in music production. Luk Wing and C-Kwan met as classmates at Hong Kong Tang King Po College and shared a love for hip hop, forming a rap metal band called System Map that won the Hong Kong Youth Band Competition in 2001. They later met DJ Galaxy and signed with DJ Tommy's company. The group released their first album "月下思" in 2002, followed by their first EP "鄭永芝" in 2005, which received modest reception. In 2006, the group achieved major success with the song "456Wing," which became widely popular and commercially successful, earning them a spot among the top five finalists for Best Group at the music awards ceremony. In 2007, the group held their first solo concert at the Hong Kong Arts Centre and signed with CMD Records, founded by DJ Tommy, Edison Chen, and Hanjin Tan, winning two major awards for Best Group and Favorite Group. In 2008, the group continued their success with new and compilation albums, holding two consecutive concerts at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre. The group's songs are characterized by rap and hip hop style with humorous and lighthearted lyrics, distinguishing them from traditional Hong Kong music.
