女生宿舍 (組合)

简介

女生宿舍 (Nui Sheng Su She) was a female music group under Hong Kong's Da Guo Cultural Group, formed in 2004 and disbanded in 2006. The group consisted of four members discovered by manager Li Jin around the world: Macy Chan from Hong Kong, Toby Leung from Canada, Bella Cheung from Guangzhou, and Elise Liao from Hunan, who was studying at Guangzhou's Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Their diverse backgrounds helped the group access varied work environments and allowed the company to balance the Hong Kong and mainland Chinese markets. The group rose to fame in 2004 through the web series "Golden Beetle Detective Academy" (also known as "Nui Sheng Su She @ Detective Academy"). They released their debut album "Life Is Beautiful" and achieved good results. They served as spokespersons for Pizza Hong Kong and Hong Kong Driving School, and as ambassadors for the Hong Kong Comics Festival. As individual projects increased, each member pursued different paths, and after releasing only a photo book, they had no further collaboration and officially disbanded in 2006. After disbandment, Toby Leung and Macy Chan joined TVB as actresses in TV dramas, Elise Liao continued her music career in mainland China, while Bella Cheung married early, left showbiz, and became a financial program host in mainland China.
