Freeze

简介

Freeze was a former Hong Kong female singing group consisting of 甄詠珊 (甄采浠), 陳樂榣 and 石詠莉. The three members officially announced their entry into the music scene on 6 May 2007 at an event. The group adopted gold as its team color, representing vitality, glory, prosperity, and self-confidence. From debut to disbandment, the group maintained a sensual image and was dubbed the "Three Beauty Queens" by the media due to their role as spokespersons for a cosmetic surgery company. The three members were originally magazine models and also served as spokespersons for 變靚D beauty and cosmetic surgery procedures. They all signed with 一元製作室 between 2006 and 2007. At the end of 2007, the group released its first mini-album "Golden Eyes," which sold out completely within three days and was reprinted in a second edition. In July 2008, the company announced that Freeze would hold its first concert at 匯星 on 13 December that year, and due to overwhelming response, the company attempted to add an extra show but the venue did not permit it, so it was postponed. The group also performed in Macau, the United States, and Canada. In 2009, the group participated in the TV variety cooking show "美女廚房" on 無綫電視, where a famous incident involving 石詠莉 and hosts 方力申 and 梁漢文 attracted significant media and online attention. In October 2010, after 甄詠珊 terminated her contract with the company, 陳樂榣 revealed in a media interview that Freeze had become nominal only. After disbandment, 甄詠珊 joined 電視廣播有限公司 as an actress, while 石詠莉 continued her solo career in the Hong Kong music industry.
