Boy'z

简介

Boy'z is a male music group under Emperor Entertainment, formed in 2003 with members Kwan Chi-Bin (Kenny) and Cheung Chi-Hang (Steven) under the banner of the "male version of Twins." Their first single "LALA世界" achieved great success, and the song "死性不改" became one of the most popular karaoke songs in Hong Kong. The group won the Best New Group award at the Hong Kong music awards ceremony in 2003. In February 2005, Kwan Chi-Bin left the group for a solo career, and new member Dennis Mak joined, forming the second generation of Boy'z. In June 2006, William Chan joined, turning the group into a trio renamed Sun Boy'z, with Cheung Chi-Hang becoming the group leader. In April 2008, William Chan left for a solo career, and in December of the same year, Dennis Mak also left the entertainment industry to study hotel management in Switzerland. In April 2010, Kwan Chi-Bin and Cheung Chi-Hang reformed as Boy'z, and the group was renamed BOYZ in 2018. After the members went their separate ways since 2012, with Kwan Chi-Bin pursuing a career in mainland China and Cheung Chi-Hang remaining in Hong Kong, the group held its first official concert in October 2018 at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre after 16 years of formation. However, in July 2019, the group's first Hong Kong Coliseum concert was shelved due to a scandal involving member Cheung Chi-Hang.
