劉文俊
简介
Lau Man Chun is a well-known Hong Kong extra actor who has worked in the field for over 20 years and runs his own extras management company. He started his career at age 14 driven by the dream of becoming a star, but soon faced many hardships, earning only HK$40 per day initially, eating all three meals at home, walking to work, and even dating on film sets, making his life extremely difficult. His television career was mainly active in the 1980s, and due to his fierce-looking appearance, he consistently played villains, waiters, passersby and other supporting roles. One of his notable roles was in the TVB series "Police Cadet" (新紮師兄) where he played the boyfriend of the main female lead's sister, and coincidentally his character's name was "Wai Ka Fai," the same name as the scriptwriter and later famous director. Later, he got an opportunity with Radio Television Hong Kong, where he appeared in the crime re-enactment segments of "Police Report" (警訊) as a robber, and also participated in educational television programs, generating significant attention and raising his profile, leading to an interview with Ming Pao Weekly. In the 1990s, he founded his own extras management company, Run Tian Actors Company (潤天演員公司), which manages about a thousand extras, thus joining the ranks of entrepreneurs.
