简介

Alex Mak Hoi Ching is a Hong Kong-based French actor, television presenter and businessman. He grew up in Bordeaux, France and attended Lycée F. Magendie from 2009 to 2011 before going to Shanghai Normal University as an exchange student from 2013 to 2014. He graduated with distinction from the French Institute of Business and Management with a master's degree in international marketing and communications between 2011 and 2015. Before entering the entertainment industry, he held several positions including marketing communications manager at Asia Yachting Limited, weekly events manager at La Casa Del Campo, entrepreneurship project partner at humanitarian aid organisations in New York, and marketing communications assistant at Accus Services Ets Fossard. Inspired by Hong Kong martial arts films from a young age, he returned to Hong Kong in 2016 to participate in the Mr. Hong Kong contest and made it to the top ten. After the contest he joined TVB as a contracted artiste and enrolled in a three-month acting training course. In 2017 he appeared in a short video titled Lady CEO on TVB's official Facebook page "See See TVB", attracting attention for his comedic performance. In 2018 his fluency in French earned him recognition from a TVB executive, leading to hosting opportunities for the travel programmes "France Trendy" and "Wine Around the World 4". In 2020 he played a significant role in the drama "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter" but was absent from all promotional activities, sparking rumours that he had been suspended due to his participation in the 2019 protests. TVB responded that he had returned to France for an urgent matter, and he terminated his contract in June 2020, later revealing that he had suffered severe depression in late 2019 and returned to Bordeaux for recovery. With the COVID-19 pandemic driving demand for European car batteries and electric bicycles, he took over the solar photovoltaic business of the family company Accus Services Ets Fossard. He married Natalie Lee, an American of Hong Kong descent, in 2019 and welcomed twin daughters in 2022.
