高亮 (邵氏)

简介

Gao Liang was a Hong Kong film actor active in the 1950s and early 1960s, working primarily with Shaw Brothers. He studied economics at university, and his father was an import-export businessman who wanted him to take over the family business. He joined Shaw Brothers as an actor in 1956 and became the male lead of the company's first Cantonese film in 1957. He also worked as a Hokkien-language radio broadcaster at Rediffusion (麗的呼聲). He briefly retired from cinema due to his father's opposition but returned about two years later to continue working with Shaw Brothers. There is confusion between him and another broadcaster of the same name at the same station who later became a television presenter and television executive.
