Biography

Fire Lee, originally named李家榮, is a Hong Kong film director, screenwriter, lyricist, actor, and television host. He was born on March 8, 1976. He grew up in the Tsuen Wan area of Hong Kong, living in the rooftop of an old building before moving to青衣涌美老屋村 and美景花園. He has an older brother. He attended a primary school afternoon session and later中華基督教會全完中學. After secondary school, he joined a community center drama class and worked as an amateur clown. He was once offered a chance to go to the United States as a professional clown but chose to stay in Hong Kong after being admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He graduated in 2001 with an Honours Bachelor's degree in Acting from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He began his artistic career in the early 2000s as an actor before entering directing, screenwriting, and lyric writing. In 2008, he caught the attention of director馬偉豪 and started his film acting career, then co-directed the film 《愛得起》 with him, which became his first directorial work. He has directed several films including 《等我愛你》, 《老笠》, and 《女士復仇》. He has also acted in well-known films such as 《新紮師妹》, 《獨家試愛》, 《五個小孩的校長》, and 《白日青春》. In addition to cinema, he has hosted television programs on ViuTV and TVB, served as a guest host on森美's radio show 《公子會》, and co-hosted the radio program 《雙截棍》 with余迪偉 from 2014 to 2016. The name "火火" was given to him by a teacher during a dinner, and he began using it for his screenwriting, becoming known by this name. He is currently an artist under TVB and has a daughter and a son.
