简介

Kong Yat Fan (Jiang Yifan), originally named Chen Naixiong (Guoxiong), was born in 1931 and died on November 12, 1981. He was a Hong Kong film actor during the 1950s and 1960s, typically playing upright, positive characters. In 1957, he left home due to family disputes over marriage issues, prompting his father Chen Daheng to publish a newspaper notice in a Hong Kong newspaper severing their father-son relationship, while still offering to fund his education. In 1964, he became engaged to actress Xia Ping, but the engagement was called off a year later due to disagreements. After retiring from acting in the mid-1960s, he worked briefly in a law firm before managing a taxi service and a paper products factory. In 1972, he traveled to Japan and the United States to visit factories as general manager of Guangxia Paper Products Factory. He died at age 50 from a heart attack, and his funeral was conducted with Taoist rites at Hong Kong's Mary Hospital. He appeared in 45 films, mostly in lead roles, with his debut film being "The Beloved" (1953) and his final works being "Sister Ping" (1965) and "Police Net Captures the Killer" (1966).
