吳耀明

简介

Wu Yaoming is the founder and spokesperson for Hai Tin Tong, a turtle jelly company. He frequently appeared in the company's TV commercials, using computer effects to insert himself into Miss Hong Kong pageants and classic Cantonese film scenes for humorous "shared screen" effects. In 2010, he began making cameo appearances in film and television productions, including the Hong Kong film "72 Tenants of Prosperity" playing his real-life profession as a turtle jelly shop owner, followed by the ATV sitcom "Hong Kong Go Go Go." His personal assets exceed 500 million yuan, including a Tai Po Beverly Hills detached house and multiple shop properties. In 2013, he faced controversy over claims that his turtle jelly contained no turtle, which he attributed to commercial rivals. He has close ties to the pro-Beijing DAB party and participated in their election campaigns.
