简介

Sam Wong ( Wong Cham-sum ) is a Hong Kong actor and director born in 1977. His original name was the same as the famous lyricist Wong Jim, but his mother later changed it believing water brings wealth. He studied at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and was a classmate of Cheung Tsz-chung. He appeared in films such as "Waiting for Tung Kin-wah's Sentence", "Love to Fight", and "Love to Cheat", and also performed in the stage play "Night Valley Hotel in Business". He managed the "Hell Star Anniversary Celebration" program at Ocean Park for 12 years. In 2019, he was involved in controversy after content related to the anti-extradition bill movement was added to a theater performance at Ocean Park, causing audience outrage and leading to his dismissal. He was attacked by actress Ma Tai-lo, who strongly criticized the show on Weibo and was blamed for causing Wong to lose his job. In 2020, Wong threatened revenge on Facebook, to which Ma Tai-lo responded with a personal attack calling him a coward and a supporter of Hong Kong independence.
