曾國祥

Derek Tsang (曾國祥) is a Hong Kong film director and actor, born on 8 November 1979. He is the son of famous Hong Kong film star Eric Tsang (曾志偉), and his half-sister is actress Bowie Tsang (曾寶儀). He began his directing career with the film "Lovers' Discourse" in 2010, co-directed with Yee Chung-Man, which earned him a nomination for Best New Director at the 47th Golden Horse Awards. He made a breakthrough in his career with the 2016 film "Soul Mate" (七月與安生), which was nominated for Best Director at the 53rd Golden Horse Awards. He reached the peak of his directing success with the 2019 film "Better Days" (少年的你), for which he won Best Director at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards. He also acted in various artistic works and hosted television programmes. He announced his marriage to actress Wong Man-yik in 2019, with the wedding held in Hokkaido, Japan. He is currently an artist under Sun Entertainment Culture.
