简介

Singh Hartihan, Bitto, commonly known as Bitto, is an Indian-Hong Kong actor, basketball coach, and businessman. Born on 16 July 1980 and raised in Kowloon City, he is a third-generation Indian immigrant who is fluent in Cantonese, English, Hindi, and Punjabi. He began his acting career in 2007 when helping gather information for the film "PTU: Partners," through which he auditioned and became a TVB contract actor. He has appeared in numerous Hong Kong films and TV series, including "Love in a Puff," "Mad Detective," "Laughing Gor: Turning Point," and TV series such as "The Other Truth" and "The Last Steep Ascent." His roles are often minor, frequently portraying criminals or con men, which he attributes to the limited understanding of ethnic minorities in scriptwriting. He gained wider recognition in 2021 for playing an Indian father in the TV series "Kids' Lives Matter." Outside of acting, he works part-time as a basketball coach in the To Kwa Wan area. He was previously married to a Hong Kong woman and later married his partner Donna in 2012. He has expressed his aspiration to produce a film about ethnic minorities to highlight their important role in Hong Kong's culture.
