简介

Ken / Onitsuka Ng Kin-chung, originally named Ng Kin-chung, was born on 14 November 1954 in Hong Kong. He came from a poor family with nine siblings and was the sixth child, living in a seven-storey resettlement block in Shek Kip Mei. In 1960, before the Hong Kong government introduced free compulsory education, he could not formally enroll in school despite being of primary school age, and spent his childhood at a Lutheran rooftop branch. After his father passed away when he was 11, he developed a strong passion for fashion design. He entered the entertainment industry in 1979, making a cameo appearance as a prisoner in the film "打籐" directed by his good friend Hu Feng. In 1985, he opened his own fashion brand store named "鬼塚", which at its peak had over twenty branches across Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, and Shanghai. After participating in the 1986 film "江湖正將" directed by Yang Quan, he began taking on more roles in films such as "四千金" and "江湖最後一個大佬". In 2003, due to gout problems, he was unable to manage his business, closed all his fashion stores, and retired, also giving up racing for the sake of his wife and children. Between 2003 and 2007, he served as a council member of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild for the sixth and seventh terms. In 2016, after retiring, he sought to pass the time and was referred by a friend working at TVB to become a TVB freelance actor, with "乘勝狙擊" being his first drama. On 1 March 2018, he and four other freelance artists were signed to basic artist contracts, officially becoming TVB artists while occasionally appearing in films. His stage name "鬼塚" originated from his fashion store name, which stuck after a director mistakenly called for him on set. Besides acting, he is passionate about vintage vehicles, owning a Porsche 993 and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and enjoys attending car enthusiast gatherings in his spare time.
