In 1998, he was captivated by drifting techniques while visiting a Japanese car exhibition and racing event, and began learning from Keiichi Tsuchiya while practicing on his own. He founded the "Hong Kong Drifting Association" to attract enthusiasts and achieved notable results in Zhuhai and Macau racing competitions. In 2000, he met Blackie Ko during a drifting performance in Shenzhen, but lost this opportunity after Ko's death in 2003. He was arrested in an illegal racing incident in 2003. He gained widespread recognition in 2012 for designing a notable drifting scene in "Motorway," which earned him the Best Action Choreography award at the 49th Golden Horse Awards. He was also nominated for other awards for his work on "Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy" and "The White Storm 2: Drug Lords" in 2020. He married Deng Yiting, a member of the Chin Ka-lok Stunt Team, in 2015.
