Felix Lok Ying Kwan is a Hong Kong actor born on 3 October 1952. He grew up in a stone house in Ngau Chi Wan, Kowloon. His father was the former principal of Lok Sin Tong Kwun Tong School, his uncle was the famous Cantonese film actor Lok Kung, his sister was the wife of Shin Pao founder Lam Hang Chi, and his brother is senior barrister Lok Ying Gong. He graduated from Joy Ying Kindergarten in 1958 and Lok Sin Tong Kwun Tong School in 1964, later attending Choi Hung Catholic English Secondary School. He worked as a substitute English teacher and clerk before joining Shaw Brothers Studio in 1973 as a trainee in the third acting course. He later joined TVB in 1975 in the fifth artist training class and graduated in 1976. He emigrated with his wife to Vancouver, Canada in 1995 but returned to Hong Kong after a few months. He left TVB in 2011 after over 30 years and signed with Hong Kong Television Network in 2012 until 2015. He obtained Canadian citizenship in 2000 and married a hairstylist in 1990. In 2019, he underwent two surgeries for kidney stones and reduced his work to focus on recovery.
