盧大偉 (香港)
简介
David Lo Dai Wai (born 18 February 1945 in Shanghai, under the real name Lo Wing Fuk, and raised in Hong Kong) was the youngest of six siblings, two of whom—his elder brothers Lo Yuen (Lo Wing Kei) and Siu Leung (Lo Wing Wah)—were also in the entertainment industry. He graduated from Wah Yan College in Hong Kong and worked at the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation for nearly two years before enrolling in the second artist training course at Rediffusion Television in 1967, alongside classmates such as Lee Sze Kei and Wong Shu Yi. In 1975, he moved with his brother Siu Leung to TVB upon an invitation from Chou Liang Shu Yi, making his drama debut in "Kung Fu Re" (功夫熱) and "Xian Hao" (相見好). He became well known as a satirical current-affairs host alongside singer Fun Ni in the programme "Lun Jin Tian Tang" (論盡天堂) and appeared on the long-running variety show "Huan Jin Zin" (歡樂今宵), where he was noted for his impersonations of artists and celebrities. In the early 1990s he left TVB, opened a production company to seek advertising sponsors and investors, and later emigrated to Canada. He subsequently returned to Hong Kong and hosted programmes on cable television. In 2007 he appeared in the film "Mei Dong Bian Huan Shi" (每當變幻時) and returned to the revived "Huan Jin Zin", and he served as a council member of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild for its eighth and ninth terms. In 2013 he made a comeback with TVB in the drama "Nuren Julebu" (女人俱樂部), which became his final work. He was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer in 2012, and passed away on 4 March 2016 at the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital at the age of 71.
