劉家良

简介

Lau Kar-leung was a famous martial arts actor and director at Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers film company. Born in 1936 and passed away in 2013, he came from a martial arts family, with his father Lau Tan being a disciple of Wong Fei-hung. He began learning martial arts from his father at age nine. He entered the film industry in 1950 as an extra and stuntman. He became a director in 1975 with the successful film "Spiritual Boxer". He received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2010 for his contributions to martial arts cinema. He was married to Ho Sau-ha and later to翁靜晶, with whom he had two daughters.
