简介

Keith Lee Siu Kei, known by the nickname "Gao Fei", was a Hong Kong film actor born on 4 December 1949 and died on 2 June 2019. In the 1970s, he was a member of a youth gang called "Tsim Sha Tsui Thirteen Tai Po" and had a history of drug use, but later successfully quit and reintegrated into society. In the 1980s, director Lin Ling Dong invited him to act in films, which helped him leave the criminal world, and he also worked behind the scenes at Hong Kong television and participated in TV series. Known as "Brother Kei" due to his background and grassroots appearance, he typically portrayed bold but reckless characters or small gang bosses, rarely playing major figures. He was mostly a supporting actor, and his most famous role was "Choi Shui Kei" in the Young and Dangerous film series. He also appeared in Stephen Chow films such as God of Cookery, Lawyer Lawyer, and The Lucky Guy. Due to his tough appearance and acting skills, he was grouped with three other actors as the "Four Villains of Hong Kong Cinema". Lee Siu Kei was not only an actor but also the head of a film investment company, serving as producer and screenwriter, with his works often focusing on gangster films. From around 2015, he rarely appeared in major productions due to a stroke, and in November 2018 was diagnosed with liver cancer and considered giving up treatment, but was encouraged by family and friends and underwent surgery to remove the tumor. On 12 February 2019, he married his 58-year-old girlfriend Qiao Qiao Zhen, but died on 2 June 2019 when the cancer spread to his lungs at Queen Elizabeth Hospital at age 69, and his funeral was held on 9 July at Diamond Hill Funeral Home.
