简介

Jeffrey Lam Sen is a Hong Kong actor, director and screenwriter, born in 1995 and raised in a Christian family with a pastor father. He attended the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in screenwriting, and graduated in 2018. He gained recognition as a director through his short films exploring religious themes, such as "End" and "Poetic Grace", which were selected for the Fresh Wave International Shorts Festival. In 2019, he transitioned to on-screen acting with the film "G Affairs", earning a Hong Kong Film Award nomination for Best New Performer. His career was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and social conditions, leading him to work as a legal assistant and nearly abandon filmmaking. Around 2020, he was recommended by Chan Wing-chan to co-direct "Sin of the Father" with fellow screenwriter Tam Sin-yeung, and the screenplay won funding from the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers. He currently works full-time at the Hong Kong Film Archive.
