简介
Mark Kwok Yiu Ming was born in Hong Kong to parents who separated early in his life. He received his primary education at Mo De Primary School, a boarding school in Tiao Jing Ling. After graduating from secondary school, he worked as a graphic designer at an advertising company for three to four years, while attending design school in his free time. Bored with his job, he decided to change careers and become an entertainer. He began his artistic career at Asia Television (ATV), graduating from the third batch of trainees from 1984 to 1985, alongside classmates like Yip Chi-Mei and Fong Kwok-Shan. He did not immediately become a formal ATV actor after graduation; instead, he re-enrolled in ATV's training program in 1991 with Dai Yiu-Ming and Wai Ka-Hung, then signed with ATV in 1992 and began appearing on screen. In 1995, he left ATV and joined TVB, where he participated in the sitcom "Ching Ching" (真情) as Gwo Yat-Nam, which drew audience attention. He continued working with TVB until 2007, serving as the second male lead twice during that period. After retiring from entertainment, he transitioned to the insurance industry, working at Zurich Insurance for a year and also attending AIA's new employee training program. His final on-screen work before retirement was the series "Tung Tin Gun Tam" (通天幹探).
