简介

Alan Kwan Wai Lun was born in 1951 in Zhongshan, mainland China, and grew up in Hong Kong. He enrolled in the first cohort of the Actors' Training Centre founded by Shaw Brothers and TVB, graduating in 1971 alongside classmates such as Mimi Kung, Liu Shiu Xian, and Hui Ying. He began his career at TVB before moving to ATV, where he spent over 37 years as a main and prominent character actor. In 2016 he joined TVB on a basic artist contract and continues to work there. He is known for portraying kind-hearted characters in most of his television roles. In his personal life, he married in 1978 and has a son and a daughter.
