He later joined another major film company in the 1960s and shifted his focus to comedy before moving to Taiwan in 1969. He hosted successful television programs such as "Family Happiness," "Tonight Tonight," and starred in popular daily dramas like "You, Me and Him" and "The Good Uncle," which he also produced and directed. He also sang the theme song for the famous TV series "Justice Bao" in 1974. A prolific actor, he appeared in over 700 films, evolving from a handsome villain in his youth to comedic roles in his later years.
